The only way to attack The Mechalon is with (
Laser CannonLaser CannonA hefty ray gun that consumes 5 cells per shot. It seems to be the only thing that can harm the Mechalon. Weapon Type: Gun

), which can be found on a platform in 
Mechalon.
Skills
• Missiles: The Mechalon shoots 3 missiles at a time. They are very easy to avoid. Each missile decreases health by 1 full heart.
• Shockwave: Every once in a while The Mechalon starts charging to release a shockwave of fire. This should be avoided at all cost as it causes 3 
damage.
Strategies
• Shoot at The Mechalon with the Laser Cannon while avoiding its missiles. As soon as it starts charging, run back to the bridge and wait until the shockwave has faded. Run back and shoot The Mechalon with the Laser Cannon. Rinse and repeat until it's defeated.
• A good place to defend yourself from the shockwave is by standing at the bridge nearest to The Mechalon's platform.
